Hi! I'm a Wisconsin-based songwriter, touring nationally this year in conjunction with the release of my new album "Wildwood," produced by JT Nero from Birds of Chicago. My songs are thoughtful and literate, based in a strong sense of place. Accolades include a FARM Official and NERFA Semiformal showcases this year, #5 song/#7 album on Folk DJ in September 2019, Falcon Ridge Emerging Artists Showcase (2015), and #1 Song/#4 Album on Folk DJ (July 2015). In the past year, I've toured with or opened for Dar Williams, Peter Mulvey, and John Gorka. I'm planning two tours of the northeast in 2020, several short jaunts around the Midwest throughout 2020 and 2021, and a west coast tour for early 2021. I'd love to connect with presenters and other folks in your showcase room. Katie www.katiedahlmusic.com, katie@katiedahlmusic.com Katie Dahl’s songs aren’t just melodies and words, they’re journeys that are firmly grounded in a sense of place—beautiful, real landscapes that help you feel places that you may have never been before. That’s the very best kind of songwriting.” – Dar Williams "Katie Dahl makes good music--the songs are wise and steady, and make a case for the plain beauty of the everyday. In unsettled times she brings us a grounded spirit." - Peter Mulvey

A native of Missouri living in Colorado, she captures a Midwestern country sound combined with a Rocky Mountain Americana feel in her work. Her music is lyric-driven, weaving big ideas from clever wordplay and vivid imagery. Her songs often poke fun at the world around her, while also getting at deep human truths. Though she is new to the music scene, she has created a sound that is distinctly hers and distinctly catchy. Isabelle released her first full-length album, Middle Sister, in July of 2019
