Members of The Rose Tattoo, a community of traveling musicians and storytellers from across the nation, including Bob “Boomer” and Diana “Mama Pipes” Suckiel, Mark “Smokestack” Ross, Rik “Totem Pole” Palieri and Kuddie “Feather River Kid,” share traditional train songs, tramp songs, stories and poems. The group was brought together by the late U. Utah Phillips.
