Combining songs and sounds from the East Texas Pines to the swing of the hill country and west, from the sultry French Quarter and the Mississippi delta to the pep of the Ozark Hills, Chris Puente has that old timey Americana sound that has graced stages all across the country as well as over seas.
Puente uses harmony, melody, simple percussion with strong syncopated rhythms to takes audiences on a tour of myth and legend, of the Snake Oil Salesmen, the Carpet Bagger, the Carnie, the Revival, The Old West and Old Ways. A tour of old music, of traditional Americana.
