FARMette is a mini-FARM conference, and FARMette Kansas is an effort by Board President Elexa Dawson to bring the magic of FAI's conference and the productivity of FARM's Gathering into a local and accessible day of networking and strengthening our local music community.

Attendees
Are you a non-commercial musical artist or industry worker who spends time in Kansas?
If you answered "yes", you belong at FARMette Kansas! Folk music is the music of all the people. Mandolins are not mandatory. You do not even need to live in Kansas to attend.
Anyone interested in making deeper connections with artists, the music industry, and the folk community in our region is welcome to attend.

FAI members get $5 off registration.

Schedule
Featuring a keynote from Emporia-raised artist Kelley Hunt, this one-day event includes educational workshops on mastering balance in the business of music, networking opportunities to build organic community, an incredible stage to showcase talent, and a place to scout talent to present at a house concert or venue.

The conference venue will be open to the public for the evening showcases starting at 6pm.

Community members are welcome to attend the evening showcase at no formal charge. Donations to FARM will be accepted.

The day closes with a signature 10 West Karaoke Party at 8:00 PM!
Full schedule TBA.
